The session in a nutshell: Disaster Preparedness in Hospitals
“Hospitals are under increasing pressure. This webinar will present some of the challenges that hospitals face during disasters and how we can increase preparedness for those challenges. Probably it is not possible to give one definition of “disasters”, because we cannot predict the nature of the next one. However, it is possible to list some recent ones: pandemics, wars, catastrophic natural events, cyberattacks. In this webinar, speakers will address the importance of Hospital disaster preparedness to increase the resiliency of health care delivery and therefore patient safety. An open discussion will follow, moderated by Prof Leandro Pecchia and Dr. Yadin David”
