MYSPHERA – Strategic Mobility Plan
During the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the company had to adapt quickly to the new situation caused by the virus. In a very short time, we had to be able to adapt the daily activity of 90% of our staff to a non-face-to-face operation. In this way, we have been able to avoid the spread of the infection, as well as maintaining our productive activity and minimising the impact of the health and economic crisis resulting from the confinement of our company. Until now, we have never had an exceptional situation similar to the one we are experiencing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in which 100% of the workforce had to work remotely. This has been a problem in terms of IT resources and a challenge in terms of infrastructure, information systems and security.
The present aid programme has provided an important help to make the technological transformation process of the company a reality in order to make a great qualitative and quantitative leap in the global transformation project to improve MYSPHERA’s competitiveness against its international competitors. We want to provide the members of our agile teams with total freedom and flexibility to work from wherever they are, which will provide them with a better work-life balance and we will have an increase in productivity and efficiency. We strongly believe in a technology company model that works 100% remotely. One that is capable not only of giving continuity to its business, but also of making it grow, while at the same time making a more responsible use of resources and contributing to sustainability and the fight against climate change, reducing consumption in the office and commuting to and from the office.
Specifically, it has contributed to the achievement of the following milestones:
• New laptops to facilitate mobility and remote working. Acquisition of 15 laptops, 8 for software developer positions; 4 for implementation, maintenance and technical support positions; and 3 for administrative staff.
• Cloud infrastructure and process automation to achieve continuous value delivery. Deploy and operate all the necessary infrastructure to support the development, testing, pre-production and production environments required by the different development teams.
• Extend information systems to support key, cross-cutting processes. Extend the use in SaaS (software as a service) mode of the information systems that support the organisation’s key strategic processes, as well as processes that are transversal and have an impact on the company as a whole. (Production, HR)
• Implement better monitoring, IT management and security solutions (anti-malware and anti-phishing).
